How it Works

The concept is simple.  Human male urine is approximately 96% water.  The question is: "Why use water to move water?"  The ZeroFlush urinal trap utilizes a time tested, proven method and technology to move urine into the waste system and eliminate urinal odors.  The housing has a removable and replaceable "drain insert" that, when in place, creates a very efficient vertical "S" trap system.  In fact, the unique ZeroFlush trap system acts as a filter that helps to prevent the hard buildup in drains as is

commonly experienced with competitive brands (this has been a common concern from customers of other brands).

 

Waterless urinals are also more sanitary than traditional flush units.  The reason for this is that many bacteria require media such as water in which to survive.  By eliminating the media, you will also eliminate the bacteria and accompanying odors.  More info

ZeroFlush Urinals meet  SI/ASME A122.19.2.M-1998 and A117.1 (section 605.2) for vitreous china fixtures.  IAPMOIGC 161-2000 and ANSIZ 125.9-94 compliant.

The ZF system uses an all natural, biodegradable odor barrier/ trap sealant and that the insert is a biodegradable ABS plastic.
